Congratulations, Jenny! You’re the Shopping Spree Winner for March!

Jenny and her fiancé, Sean, met while he was DJing at a club in Columbus Ohio. Sean (aka Ace) works full-time as a radio DJ and Jenny works as an Aquatics Director for YMCA. Phil proposed to Jaqi this past October while on a vacation cruise! Jaqi is a US Navy reservist and EMT, and Phil is a full-time EMT.

 

 

 

 

Jaqi and Phil are getting married in October of 2011 — a beautiful time of year for an elegant affair. The wedding will take place outdoors with a romantic waterfall setting the scene. The officiant will be a mutual friend who is a Vietnam vet and military chaplain. The reception will be held at the local VFW and the colors are red and black — a lovely choice!

Congratulations, Stefanie! You’re the Shopping Spree Winner for December!

Stefanie G. is the lucky winner of Ann’s monthly shopping spree giveaway. She’ll receive $500 to use anytime on anything site-wide, and she is more than excited for the opportunity.

“Now that we’ve won this shopping spree, I can’t wait to redirect our budget. I was settling for less with wedding decor and memory items, and I had significantly cut the budget on my dress, which was devastating. Now we can afford the extras we wanted and get the dress I dreamed of!”

 

Stefanie and Anthony became good friends about two years ago, supporting each other as each went through difficult separations. By August of 2009, they had started dating and by that following May, Anthony had proposed!

 

Both Stefanie and Anthony love the winter season and have decided on a winter-themed wedding. The wedding will be small with a best man, maid of honor, flower girl and ring bearer. Stefanie and Anthony are very excited to include his daughter in the celebration as the flower girl and Stefanie’s little step brother as the ring bearer.

 

Stefanie is planning a beautiful wedding on a tight budget due to losing her job in October. With help from their church, parents and siblings, they’re confident the wedding will be wonderful. And, of course, with a little help from Ann’s their wedding day can be even more special.

Let’s Get More Acquainted with Ann’s Shopping Spree Winner, Alyssa!

Last Thursday we introduced you to our $500 Shopping Spree winner, Alyssa, and her mother, Elaine, who signed her up. Now we’d like to share with you a few more details about the happy couple and their wedding plans.

Alyssa and Shaun are high school sweethearts and have been together for four years. They are big fans of camping, eating out and long drives. While Alyssa enjoys shopping (don’t we all!) and spending time with family, her fiancé enjoys John Deer tractors and many outdoor activities, such as hunting and fishing.

 

The wedding ceremony and reception will take place in July of 2011 at Promises to Keep in Derry, New Hampshire. Promises to Keep is a beautiful facility with stunning gardens creating the backdrop for Alyssa and Shaun’s romantic event. We imagine there will be some fantastic photo ops!

 

Alyssa and Shaun plan to make their wedding unique in a few different ways, including having the flower girl and ring bearer drive down the aisle on a battery powered John Deer! Alyssa also plans on providing a luscious candy bar, which is a big favorite here at Ann’s for not only being tasty, but it’s also a super cute addition to any wedding reception look.

 

Alyssa and her mother intend to buy everything that is left for the ceremony and reception with the $500 from Ann’s.

 

“My mom has a serious rare disease and has been struggling to buy everything for our perfect day. Thanks to Ann’s Bridal Bargains, we now can buy all the things we need leaving my mom’s mind at rest,” says Alyssa. “Thank you, Ann’s Bridal Bargains.”
